Since the 1970's McGrath Estate has run a small heard of 35 Hereford cattle which are bred and reared naturally both on flat and hill country.

Natural farming practices are employed wherever possible here. Animal welfare is also a primary concern. All our cattle at McGrath are grazed outdoors in open pastures all year round and fed purely on grasses as well as hay supplementation in the cold winter months.
